• Rikako’s reasoning for using science over magic is kinda like her way of independence and self-reliance on herself. She knows that the magic will eventually run out, considering the Hakurei Border had to created to preserve it and wanted to be able to sustain herself and putting her on even level against stronger youkai in case her magic isn’t strong enough. 

• Even so, her magic is like crazy strong. Natural talent probably.

• Whenever Rikako uses her magic, I think the reason why she goes on such a rampage is because it sends her in this power superiority complex. Like she’s supposed to be the strongest being and anyone who stops her should be crushed. 

• She has a rather deep and mature voice whenever she speaks normally and it goes up a pitch when she’s scared or experiencing hiccups. 

• I like to headcanon that her age is probably somewhere in her early 20s I believe? Also she’s of average weight, a few inches below average height and going by this chart,  I think she would have a column shape!

• She wears glasses because she’s far sighted and it helps her dodge danmaku better

• She’s openly asexual, panromantic 

• SHE REALLY REMINDS OF THAT SCIENTIST FROM POKEMON BLACK WHO WAS TRYING TO RESEARCH DREAMS USING THE POKEMON MUNNA. YEAH THAT’S RIKAKO RIGHT THERE

• Her house, while not the messiest, is filled with papers and different kinds of experiments: whether they’re works in progress, finished and fully tested, or broken. 

• She likes to drink tea while working! Also I like to think she lives in the Forest of Magic because it’s serene there plus she experiment on the youkai that try to attack her.
